Wildlife Photography in Dorset

Come and visit Badger Watch Dorset and you will have a fantastic opportunity to photograph British wildlife from our purpose built hides.

The badger watch starts at 6:30pm so (depending on when the badgers come out) you will have the opportunity to shoot during daylight and as dusk approaches the floodlights switch on so that area in front of the hides is fully illuminated, giving you a great view. The hides have been in position for many years and the badgers are used to the lighting so as long as everyone stays still and quiet, the badgers come extremely close.

All the photos on the website are of our badgers and have been taken from our hides, giving you a good indication of the great opportunity a visit to Badger watch Dorset presents to the wildlife photographer.  If you want to bring lots of photographic equipment and tripods etc, it may be a good idea to book a hide for your exclusive use.
